Clubs, pubs, and bars start playing party music in the late afternoons inviting you to imbibe in your chosen liquor and join the revelries. The parties usually go on until sunrise, so if this is the kind of scene you’re after, look no further than Haad Rin.
Accommodations run the gamut here; from budget hostels to upscale boutique resorts and everything in between, there’s something for everyone. The beachfront area, as well as the main streets, are also lined with a wonderful range of restaurants, spa and massage services, convenience stores, ATM’s, and other tourist amenities.
Other than the parties, shopping is also terrific on Rin Beach. You’ll be pleased to know that it’s much cheaper here than in Samui, so this is where you should be haggling and shopping for all those souvenirs. The vendors here sell a wide array of clothing, sarongs, beachwear, handbags, jewellery, and so much more.
Getting here is easy; you can either take a ferry from Koh Samui or Thong Sala. Another option is to take a taxi, locally known as the songthaew. Most of the beach is walkable because it’s rather compact. However, if you need to go somewhere that’s a little out of the way, you can rent a motorbike or bicycle.
