Singapore to Koh Tao

Travelling from Singapore to Koh Tao will require a little patience since there are no direct flights.

However, you can fly directly into the nearby islands and provinces, and from there, it will be a short journey to one of the most stunning Thai islands.

Singapore To Koh Tao, Ferry & Flight Times, Schedule, Prices & Timetable

The first option is to take a flight from the Changi Airport to the Koh Samui Airport. This is one of the quickest routes you can take, although these flights tend to be on the expensive side. From Samui, you can take one of three ferries that go to Koh Tao.

The ferries have several departures from morning to afternoon, so it’s best to catch a flight that lands early enough on Koh Samui so that you can catch the last ferry which leaves at around 4:30pm. The piers in Koh Samui do vary depending on the ferry company you choose, so best to check before booking.

The second option is to fly to Krabi airport, although there are only a few direct flights from Singapore. Once you get to Krabi town, take a short bus to the Donsak pier which is located in the Surat Thani province. The bus journey will take around three hours.

In Donsak, you can choose from the same three ferry companies to board a three-hour ride directly to Koh Tao. Just like with from Koh Samui, it’s always best to book a flight that will land in Krabi early, giving you enough time to catch the last ferry in the late afternoon.

Once you’ve completed the journey from Singapore to Koh Tao, you will likely be dropped off at the Mae Haad Pier. When you depart the ferry, then you can arrange for transportation for the rest of your trip. Taxi services, motorbike and bicycle rentals are all available on Koh Tao.
