Koh Samui and Koh Phangan’s weather is very similar, with this island also experiencing two major seasons – wet and dry. During the wet season, the rainfall is heavy and the weather forecast is consistent. In contrast, the dry season has more sun and humidity.

Generally, the wettest months start from September and has the highest rainfall during December. Sometimes, the weather can be bad with frequent storms and flooding.

The dry season starts from February through April and becomes dry and sultry during this period. As the climate is tropical during this time, you’ll experience occasional rainfall, clear skies and a humid climate every day. Even though there is occasional rainfall, it won’t last long.

February to August are the warmest seasons; so this is the time when the best Koh Phangan parties take place. Also, the water is clear and clean during this period.
