Top Koh Phangan Attractions, Tourist Sites, Things To Do & Places To See

No visit is complete without a stop at the Kuan Yin Temple – one of the most famous places of worship here. Though there are over 20 shrines, this temple stands out because of its remarkable beauty as well as historical significance. Just be sure to wear the appropriate clothing when visiting the Kuan Yin Temple or other temples in Thailand.

Satisfy your wanderlust by visiting Bottle Beach – easily one of the most spectacular beaches in the country. It’s known to be more laid-back compared to other beaches with vibrant nightlife, so if you’re looking for some R&R, Bottle Beach is for you. The beachfront area is dotted with charming guesthouses and mid-range hotels, but don’t miss out the biggest draw here (next to the white-sand beaches): fresh seafood!

Haad Salad Beach is a top destination on Koh Phangan. Famed for its stunning emerald-green waters, vibrant flora and fauna in its jungles, and fun nightlife, Haad Salad has everything you need for a relaxing few days away. It’s also a great jump-off point for visiting other nearby attractions such as Chaloklum Village, Laem Som Lake, the Chinese temple, and Wangsai Waterfalls.

Secret Beach is a scenic coastal destination that remains off the beaten path. There are only a few restaurants and hotels here, making it ideal for a quiet, romantic escape. Secret Beach is highly recommended for relaxation, especially after you’ve participated in the famous full moon parties of Koh Phangan.

If you are visiting Koh Phangan attraction with kids, don’t miss out on Slip N Fly. Other famous beaches to explore include Haad Rin Beach, Haad Yao Beach, Mae Haad Beach, and Haad Tien.
