The Koh Samui Travel Hub website was launched in 2013 and was created to highlight everything there is to see and do in Koh Samui, Thailand. It has since undergone multiple updates and reiterations, and we are also looking to share new things we have found along the way.
Michael Jones (the website creator, photographer, researcher, and editor) has been to Koh Samui numerous times (staying in Bophut, Lamai, Taling Ngam, and Koh Phangan) and has circumnavigated the island that many times on a motorbike. He is almost certain he has seen everything there is to see and do on the island (that’s listed on Google Maps, anyway).
Although he chose to call Chiang Mai home during his “Digital Nomad” phase, Koh Samui is likely his favourite place in Thailand due to the relaxed beach atmosphere, the atmosphere of the Bophut walking street, and the lack of traffic on the highway. He has personally visited all of the locations on this website, so he can likely answer any questions you may have about a specific attraction – or he can likely find the answer since he is pretty good at using Google.
We are always in travel mode – either on the road right now or planning two holidays ahead.
