Coral Cove Beach is, for many, the best beach in all of Koh Samui. It’s characterised by a rocky, rugged coastline that frames the bay, breathtaking ocean views, and a stunning natural environment.
The granite boulders on the shoreline may not be ideal for many travellers, but if you’re looking for tranquillity, it’s good news because it keeps the crowds away.

The real draw here though is the small 180-meter stretch of coarse sand beach fronting three resorts. There is also a road behind some of the resorts, where you can take a motorcycle or bicycle to explore the area further.
The sand is coarse since it’s made of ground granite; however, the water is crystal clear. On the south end of the beach, you’ll find small private coves which are ideal for romantic day trips; especially when you’re travelling with your loved one.
Unless you plan to stay in the resort for the duration of your trip, having transportation will make a big difference to your stay because there are many terrific attractions around to explore. Chaweng Beach, for one, is located up north; it’s the nearest sandy beach where you can spend an entire day relaxing or snorkelling. Lamai is another great nearby destination, known for nightlife and an excellent selection of restaurants.
At the end of the day, you can then return home to your resort on Coral Cove Beach.
