Tartain Waterfall

Tartain Waterfall is an untouched gem in Koh Samui.

It requires some adventure and a challenging climb to reach, but well worth it once you’re there.

Tartain Waterfall, Location Address & Entry Price, Lipa Noi Koh Samui

Many visitors opt to get to the falls with a motorbike, though keep in mind that the ride is not for novice bikers. It can get quite rough on the road – a job best left to the professionals. Once you get past the bended road, it’s time to go on a short walk through an area that is inaccessible for bikes or vehicles within the mountains.

Once you get to the main area, you will be greeted by warm staff who will welcome you and make sure you are comfortable. Walking sticks can also be rented to help you climb. From here, it’s a challenging and sometimes slippery climb to Tartain Waterfall, so be sure that you are following safety precautions at all times and wear the proper shoes.

Before or after swimming, you can relax at the dipping pool or enjoy the hammocks and bamboo pavilions. The locals are very friendly and love to have a chat with visitors too.

If you are looking for unique experiences in Koh Samui, the Tartain Waterfall should be on your list.
