Haad Khom Beach is a small bay located in the northern area of Koh Phangan. Also known as Coral Bay, this beach is famous for its spectacular colourful corals, which makes it fantastic for snorkelling.
It’s also more remote than other beaches, so this destination is ideal if you’re looking for something more laid-back.

Ocean View Beach Resort is one of the most popular resorts here, which offers an intimate space featuring bright and spacious bungalows with breathtaking views of the sea. There is a lot to do in and around Haad Khom beach. There is enough vibrant marine life underwater for snorkelling and diving enthusiasts to enjoy a day in and day out. Kayaking is also a fun way to stay fit while exploring the bay. Go on a hike to bottle beach; it’s a leisurely 2-hour walk each way but be sure to bring enough water with you.
Though the bay only has a handful of bars and restaurants, they all offer an excellent beach dining experience. Coral Bar is the most famous of these, but you may want to visit Ocean View for an exclusive dining experience. Check out Haad Khom Bungalows for some organic, local food and authentic Thai flavour. Coral Bay Restaurant offers a good mix of local and classic dishes.
